Nominated for four Emmys after it was released over Netflix earlier in 2020, Becoming was based on Michelle Obama’s best-selling memoir of the same name and directed by Nadia Hallgren. One of its most striking aspects was Kamasi Washington’s excellent original score, which is released on CD and vinyl.
